The Northwind Self-Bailer is 16' long and 7' wide with 20" main tubes diminishing to 16" at the bow and stern. Diminishing tubes give it a lower profile and great wave-piercing ability. It is a great cargo-hauler, and a dynamite paddle raft for a large crew. If you have paddling in mind, you'll like the fact that it has 4 sets of thwart knuckles. It is priced and shipped with two thwarts, so if you plan to paddle a lot, you'll need to order extra thwarts. The Zephyr is a diminishing tube version of Maravia's best selling Williwaw 1.5 self-bailer. The tubes diminish in diameter from 21" in the straight sections up to 16" diameter in the bow and stern. This design provides more inside space in the bow and stern for gear and passengers. The lower profile is also an advantage when you encounter those up canyon winds in the afternoon. The Zephyr comes with two thwarts standard and attachments for two more. This is a great size raft if your normal trips are overnight and your load is 3-4 people.
