Jack's boats are all made in New Mexico, and can be custom built to customer length, width and tube size specifications, in ultra tough blue or grey PVC.  The Grand Daddy is an excellent choice of boat for trips down the Grand Canyon, the Main or Middle Fork of the Salmon In Idaho, or any large river where cargo is an issue. They can be used as a motorized support boat for sea kayaking, or leisurely scenic floating. Grand Daddy Cats are standard with 24 welded (not glued) 2 1/2 inch Stainless Steel D ring patches, and 4 heavy duty handles per set of tubes.

 

This boat has a 12 1/2-ft waterline that allows for plenty of cargo or deck space. All of Jack's cats 25 inch diameter and higher have 40-oz double bottoms. There are two air chambers per tube. The air chambers have baffles that are cone shapped so that they will extend to aproximately 2/3 of the original length if one chamber looses air rapidly. The material is 35-oz high tensile strength Welded PVC Coated Polyester. This is the best UV, mildew, and air retentive fabric in the industry. Jack's uses this fabric because they want their boats to last for decades, and they do. 10-Year warranty comes with every boat.  Available in a 19' long by 25" tube model, or a 19.5' long by 28" tube model.
