The El Tigre is Jack's latest model of cargo cataraft. It features a large 28 inch tube diameter, 12 1/2 ft water line, 42 oz double bottom material on top of 35 oz air holding hull fabric, 12 -2 1/2 inch stainless steel D ring Patches per tube that are welded to the boat, 2 heavy duty handles, and rounded cone ends. As you can see from this picture, the El Tigre can be rigged for passenger comfort, and cargo capacity. There are two air chambers per tube. The air chambers have baffles that are cone shaped so that they will extend to approximately 2/3 of the original length if one chamber looses air rapidly.

 

The material is 35-oz high tensile strength Welded PVC Coated Polyester. This is the best UV, mildew, and air retentive fabric in the industry. Jack's uses this fabric because they want their boats to last for decades, and they do. 10-Year warranty comes with every boat.  Jack's boats are all made in New Mexico, and can be custom built to customer length, width and tube size specifications, in ultra tough blue or grey PVC.
